5 out of 5
We ate out al fresco every day in the pleasant garden, bedrooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Local help available from the owner and her one helper Thibault very relaxing and well positioned for a base to tour from.
Only Provence was on top of the booking and arrangements and could not have asked for anymore help..
We had a terrific time, the locale was central Aix and while parking was tricky , it was not an insurmountable issue provided a central base to travel to Avignon, Nice, Pont du Gard, Arles and Orange
Areas for improvement:
The basement bedroom could be an issue, we decided to double up for three of the group. made things a little tight but worked out.
the single bed in the attic was not good either but we had it moved down to the larger bedroom where they doubled up.
Would you recommend L Aixoise, Only Provence, Chefs or Tours to friends/ family and why/ why not?
I think that L'Axoise is better suited for adults as opposed to families with teens or small children, one area of improvement could be that the TV had some english channels. we decided that we were not in France to watch TV, so we made light of the issue for the kids.
What star rating would you give L Aixoise? (1 is lowest and 5 is the highest) 4.5
What star rating would you give Only Provence? 5
What star rating would you give Chefs/ Tours you experienced? 5++++ Sophie cooked wonderfully meals that everyone enjoyed, no complaints
Any additional, thoughts, comment, suggestions would be welcome :)
We would do this again with Both L'Axoise and Only Provence, no hesitation
