The approach to this private home is a Provence experience in and of itself with a long drive shaded on one side by hundred-year-old plane trees and manicured vines, and bordered on the other by a breathtaking collage of a lavender field, an olive grove, dry stone walls and mature oak and pine trees.
The Provençal ambiance continues as you view the noble mansion: an exquisite example of an 18th Century Provençal “bastide” that was recently the subject of an exceptional renovation project. The interiors exhibit an abundance of light, absolute luxury and elegant classicism. Each space has been designed for entertainment and relaxation, whether that is curled up on a couch reading your favorite book in the cozy library or laughing over a board game with your family and friends in the lounge adorned with silk wall fabrics.
The accommodation comprises a master suite, two junior suites and three additional bedrooms. (A guest house with two additional ensuite bedrooms is available at an additional cost). Each bedroom is spacious, has an ensuite bathroom and has Tempur-Pedic mattresses to ensure the very best sleep.
For those not wishing to take the spectacular stairs, there is also a charming but modern elevator.
Days within the Domaine are spent soaking up the romantic charm of one of the many terraces surrounding the house, each shaded by plane trees and many enjoying the relaxing sounds of water fountains. Lounging on luxurious sun loungers and bean bags around the large swimming pool with its stunning gardens and views is another favorite option. The pool is ozone treated and has a very shallow submerged “beach” for the little ones.
Dining is ever a treat here at Beau-Fleurs, whether indoors or out, and meals are prepared in the professional kitchen fitted with the very best of modern appliances.
For those wishing to do day-trips, the property is ideally located in the golden tourist triangle of Provence. It is a 10-minute drive from the historic and cultural centre of Aix-en-Provence with its bustling cafes, renowned markets and boutique shops.
The wonderful staff at Domaine Beau-Fleurs are warm and honest. While attentive, they also understand the nature of discretion. Each works hard to maintain the luxurious, spotless and class leading standard of the property. Each speaks English. Amongst the staff is a caretaker who lives discretely in a separate building on the property with its own gate.
Please do not hesitate to enquire should you wish to have some flexibility on arrival and departure dates. We will do our very best to meet your requirements to help make your stay extra special and memorable, so please just ask at the time of booking.
