This stunning provençal mas (farmhouse) was built in the style of ancient authentic stone buildings, while still offering the utmost in modern comfort, light and open space.
The bedrooms, each with private en-suite bathroom, have individual private terraces and are quite spacious for all guests. The modern kitchen is very well-equipped and opens onto the dining room as well as two large terraces orientated East and West to accommodate any meal from early breakfast to late dinner.
An underfloor heating / cooling system warms and cools the house throughout the year, and guests will also find air-conditioning within the cottage.
Nestled near the famous and beautiful hills of the pristine "Parc Naturel des Alpilles" the property offers absolute peace and tranquility for those who want to unwind and enjoy the magic of Provence, outdoor markets, wineries and high-end restaurants.
The nearest village of Eygalières is one of the most famous traditional yet chic villages in the area. Mas des Cavaliers is an easy fifteen-minute walk from the village center, which offers a wide choice of authentic restaurant experiences, ranging from local brasseries to gourmet dining.
Two 18-hole golf courses as well as half a dozen of the best wineries of the region can be reached within a scenic 20 minute drive. The historically rich towns of Saint Rémy de Provence, Arles, Avignon, Aix en Provence as well as the Camargue region and the Mediterranean coast, are perfect destinations for an inspiring day of sightseeing and shopping.

Just minutes from the charming and sophisticated village of Eygalieres, a favorite hideaway for wealthy Parisians hosts a number of very good restaurants. Find all of the charm and amenities in the village with butcher, baker, café/ bar and weekly outdoor market. The area surrounding the village provides one of the most dramatic landscapes in Provence with the famed Alpilles (hills) adorning the view - an area made famous by the works Vincent Van Gogh.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
