With several acres of gardens and private land, connected to several thousand acres of protected land in the vast and rugged provençal countryside, one could not ask for better positioning.
The feeling inside the house is quite unique as well as it is truly connected to the stoney cliff. There is an ambiance of peace and natural connectedness here unlike any other.
The large open space on the ground floor encompassing the kitchen, dining and sitting room, is on the same level as the terrace surrounding the house.
A summer kitchen welcomes those wishing to grill and prepare dinners outdoors.
In addition to the main house, an adjacent studio with kitchenette, sitting room, a bedroom with bathroom may be rented at additional price. This room is ideal for teens or personnel. Please inquire.

R. One thing is giving a better shopping list for the initial check in. The welcome basket could have a loaf of fresh bread, butter, eggs, local products ... i know that there was things in there... we did not use these.

You can not miss the "Citadelle des Baux" at the summit of the village. Les Baux covers 7 hectares and visitors can discover the main ruins of its dramatic past: the keep, Saracen towers, chapel, old war weapons... the history of Provence unfolds before your eyes amongst the rocks and stones.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
