A huge century-old mulberry tree welcomes you at the entrance of the property and is a fixture between the main house and the garden which hosts the pool. All located 5 minutes' walk from the village with 3 cafés and restaurants, a famous bakery and a grocery store offering a variety of local products.
The house is organized around a large sheltered patio offering a peaceful and comfortable place to relax in the shade. This is where guests enjoy long lasting aperitifs, lunches and dinners. In fact, there are several different terraces with unique atmospheres, to enjoy at different times of the day.
The renovation was done keeping as much authentic material onsite as possible - stones, beams, ironwork, etc., with the addition of modern comforts.
The large living area - about 900 square feet - is air-conditioned and includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and a comfortable living room with a fireplace. There is ample seating for all guests to enjoy time here together.
Four 200+ square foot bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and are each as nice as the rest. Three of the four are air-conditioned.
The genuine wine cellar has been preserved as a reminder of the property's authentic past. Meanwhile, the WiFi works throughout the house, and there are two televisions for adults and children to enjoy simultaneously.
Let's not forget the large pool and fenced garden - This area is a real treat, complete with comfortable sun loungers and plenty of shade or sun, depending on your preference.
The views of the neighboring hills are beautiful, and there are several hiking trails starting right from the house, with one leading to the dramatic Ocher hills named the Colorado Provencal.
At La Farinette, you can truly relax and connect with the wonders of Provence.

5 out of 5
We loved our stay at Farinette. We were the first people to stay in the villa which made it feel extra special! Gilles and his wife were both delightful, they were extremely welcoming, and full of knowledge of the local area, with some great restaurant recommendations.
The house itself was perfect. Immaculately presented, full of good taste in design. It had everything you would want from a holiday villa and more! The pool area was very peaceful and lovely to sit in. We went as a party of 8 with 4 children. The villa was unusually shaped which meant there were loads of separate private areas to sit so you never felt you were on top of each other. It is the best villa we have ever stayed in in France, and we have stayed in a lot! We would give the villa 5 stars with no complaints!
Only Provence have also been a very good company and we will definitely use them again. We were originally booked into another villa on their site, but due to a flood at the villa ,this was cancelled a week before we were due to depart. On emailing to confirm this problem they provided us with Farinette as an alternative. We agreed as it was sorted the next day. Excellent service all round! And we are glad we got moved as la Farinette was much nicer than our original booking!
Thanks for the lovely stay

The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
