Q. Chef Tour Experience Details
R. We booked both a chef and a wine tour. The chef, Damian Gillon, was absolutely terrific and we highly recommend him. The wine tour service that was recommended, Provence Wine Tours, was also very good. They picked good wineries for us to visit and our guide was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Q. Would you consider staying here again?

R. The villa was very well maintained and also very well stocked with all the essentials (kitchenware, soap/detergent, toiletries, etc.). The local team (Herve) was also very friendly and available to help resolve any issues.

Maison Jeannons is located in the Gordes countryside, five kilometers from the village and within easy reach of the villages of the Luberon so adored by travel writers - among them Ménerbes, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux and Roussillon. Beaumettes and Coustellet, small villages with a variety of shops, are less than ten minutes by car. The property is likewise well located for excursions beyond the Lubéron. Aix-en-Provence lies to the south, the Cotes du Rhone wine-producing region to the north, and the villages and restaurants of the Alpilles region to the southwest. The historic town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, once a center of the Provençal silk trade and now home to more than 200 antiques dealers and Provence's best-known open-air market, is a drive of less than 15 minutes, is the center outside Paris of antiques dealing.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
