This noble Bastide is located in the Provence Verte, only two kilometres from an authentic little village offering a true immersion into french life. The 30-acre vast domain is perfectly kept, planted with olive trees and truffle oaks, with gardens full of flowers and beautiful trees.

Inside, the newly renovated family house is a true piece of art - One of the most beautiful in our collection, with tasteful details at every corner, and the utmost comfort in each of the rooms. The entire house is air conditioned and can host up to 14 people. An optional “maison d'amis” (3 bedrooms) may be made available for personnel or young guests seeking privacy, please inquire.

When entering the front door of the bastide, guests are transported by the quality of the materials, stones, wood floors, and the soul of the home. You will find two cozy sitting rooms beautifully decorated, a fully equipped large kitchen – with cold room and “coin degustation de liqueurs” - and a large, warm and welcoming dining room.

Every detail has been done in the spirit of a most wonderful stay here - A Sonos sound system inside and out, a home cinema with 8 seats, even a piano in the adjacent Orangerie across the courtyard.

The seven bedrooms – Master is about 100 sqm – are all fitted with highly comfortable beds, fine linen and en-suite bathrooms. The annex has a different level of comfort.

The outdoor areas are no less amazing, and the terrain de boules and tennis court have lights for enjoying throughout the evenings. The fully equipped summer kitchen was set near the two-basin heated swimming pool. You will love your evenings dining on the terraces with lighted façades and garden areas, surrounded by music.

Three committed staff give daily attendance to the cleaning and the comfort of the guests; any kind of additional services can be offered.

Several starred restaurants can be found in the villages neighboring the property, the region is known for its Rosé wines, and many castles can be found near Cotignac, Salernes, Ponteves, and Carces.

This property is a dream come true for family gatherings or groups of people who are looking for relaxing holidays in a charming family house.

Maid Service

Five cleaning hours from Monday to Saturday and end of stay cleaning are included in the rental fees. Linens changed weekly unless agreed otherwise. Maids not responsible for washing guest dishes/ pots/ pans or personal laundry.

Fox Amphoux is perched at 540M altitude overlooking superb forests of pines and oaks. Agriculture is the main livelihood.

The village has preserved the ruins of the ramparts and the Chateau des Blacas (first mentioned in 1200 AD).

Fox Amphoux - Street

Strolling about the picturesque streets one can admire the 16th and 17th century houses and the charming little chapel at the entrance to the village.

The historical and prehistorical vestiges in Fox attract many visitors. It was also the birthplace of Barras, a personnage ot the French Revolution.

Getting here:
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.

Terms and Conditions Overview

Arrival: Saturday (arrival date subject to availability)

Minimum Stay: 1 week - please inquire about exceptions outside the summer months.

Services Included: Final cleaning and any additional maid service listed on the web page

Making your reservation: These properties are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, before you reserve, you are required to review and sign a rental agreement for the villa (the “Rental Agreement”). We will send you the Rental Agreement by email. The Rental Agreement explains in detail all of terms and conditions regarding rental and use of the property in detail. We shall have no obligation to accept any reservations, unless the Rental Agreement is fully executed.

Payment: After you have signed the Rental Agreement and filled out the appropriate information, as approved by us, a nonrefundable payment of the one-half (50%) of the Rental Fee (which price is defined in your Rental Agreement) must be received by us within seven (7) days to confirm the reservation. The remaining one-half (50%) of the Rental Fee is due 60 days before the arrival date, and is also non-refundable. If reservations are made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date, then 100% of the Rental Fee must be paid upon the signing of the Rental Agreement. Please know that a failure to pay any portion of the Rental Fee as set forth above and in Rental Agreement can result in loss of the reservation of the villa and a termination of the Rental Agreement. We will confirm receipt of each payment and note any outstanding balance and due date(s).

Cancellation: We have a no refund cancellation policy, but usually succeed in rescheduling cancelled reservations to the Spring or Fall or re-booking the cancelled period to another group and refunding the party that cancelled. Failure to pay the final balance (which is due 60 days before arrival) or provide required information for the security deposit may be deemed a cancellation with no refund due. Clients are advised to consider Trip Cancellation Insurance with the carrier of their choice at the time of confirmation.
