The pool area has open views on the garden and the olive grove where a path leads to a charming and romantic hidden place.
End of stay cleaning and 4 maid hours twice per week included. Linens changed weekly unless agreed otherwise. Maids not responsible for washing guest dishes/ pots/ pans or personal laundry.

R. I'm sorry it's taken me a while to complete this but its been busy since our return. I'll breakdown my feedback into stages. Selection & Booking - as ever we left it to the last moment but Sylvie expertly guided us through our options and was a real pleasure to work with. Super helpful, professional & knowledgeable. Stanley was also great and was in constant contact with regards contracts and payment. It was a very simple process. The House - We've been staying in Eygalieres for several years and this was by far the best property we have stayed in. We instantly felt very ''at home'' and fell in love with the property. The support staff - everyone from the meeter & greeter, the cleaner and the gardner were so nice, chatty & helpful. Nothing ever seemed to much trouble and they made us feel very looked after. Their service was second to none and please extend our thanks to all 3 of them. I think you can probably gather we had a great experience. Thank you OnlyProvence for making this happen & we'll be back!

R. took several attempts for the taxi driver to find. We were looking for the color of the gate from the photo we were sent and apparently this has been painted a different color now as well.

R. Better cooking equipment in the kitchen, more large serving platters since this house accommodates large groups and instructions for using the stovetop and oven.
More towels in the bathrooms. It would also be nice to have bicycles on premises with the rental of the villa.

R. Two of the wooden pool lounges are without cushions and since these are wooden slat lounge chairs they are not usable/ comfortable without the cushions.

R. Perfect spot for a large family gathering, walking distance to the village, close proximity to many other villages / areas to explore and large pool and outside areas for gathering that was private and picturesque.

R. Maybe some more suggestions on things to do in the area, in the form of booklet in English. There was a guide in the house but I would have liked something a bit more extensive to consult.

Carol was great when we encountered travel problems due to the train strike and arrived on a much later train and missed being able to pick up our rental car and was able to provide a driver from Nimes for us . That was a vacation saver for us as we thought we would have to spend the night in Nimes. Also liked all the updates and information we received prior to our trip . We have recommended this villa to several friends that I believe will book for next summer.

Q. What did you like about your experience?
R. Mostly that the villa was so comfortable for so many people. We all could have privacy, but then we also could eat dinner together around the same table. And sit together in small groups both indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to use the grounds too much, but all the younger ones used the pool no matter what. We also enjoyed that the villa was so close to a village.
We liked Gilles personal attention to our request for a personal tour of candidate villas and the location of the Mas des Nenuphars
Areas for improvement:
Too many points of contact within OnlyProvence. It was confusing who to contact for what.

Yes to all although there was a clear difference between the three chefs we used during our stay.

The team at OnlyProvence were helpful throughout our review and selection process. The personal attention of Gilles was extraordinary. The property was as described and the OnlyProvence team was very attentive in preparing us for our stay and responsive during our stay. We unreservedly recommend OnlyProvence to anyone considering arranging a once in a life time experience in Provence. Our only regret is that we had only three weeks to enjoy our villa.
Wonderful and well tended garden, great swimming pool, excellent location within walking distance of Eygalieres, multiple tables for breakfast, lunch, dinner outside, nice outdoor furniture, beautiful views of the Alpilles from the sitting area by the pool, well stocked kitchen (equipment). Friendly staff - Michel and Claude.
Ways to improve:
Nicer bed linens esp. in master bedroom, better bed pillows (down), instructions about where the main switch is in case of electrical failure, unpredictable wifi. Annoying covers on the sofas requiring constant re-adjusting. Maybe need slipcovers. Interior décor only average. It would be good to have some playing cards, balls for the pool, maybe a few board games for guest use. One full afternoon was spent trying to get the telephone and internet working. And that was 2 of us working on it with Orange, one of whom is computer engineer. Help needed by concierge in emergencies such as this.

Just minutes from the charming, but sophisticated village of Eygalieres, a favorite hideaway for wealthy Parisians hosts a number of good restaurants including the Michelin starred Chez Bru. Find all of the charm and amenities in the village with butcher, baker, café/ bar and weekly market. The area surrounding the village provides one of the most dramatic landscapes in Provence with the famed Alpilles (hills) adorning the view - an area made famous by the works Vincent Van Gogh.
Getting here:
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.

Making your reservation: These properties are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, before you reserve, you are required to review and sign a rental agreement for the villa (the “Rental Agreement”). We will send you the Rental Agreement by email. The Rental Agreement explains in detail all of terms and conditions regarding rental and use of the property in detail. We shall have no obligation to accept any reservations, unless the Rental Agreement is fully executed.
Payment: After you have signed the Rental Agreement and filled out the appropriate information, as approved by us, a nonrefundable payment of the one-half (50%) of the Rental Fee (which price is defined in your Rental Agreement) must be received by us within seven (7) days to confirm the reservation. The remaining one-half (50%) of the Rental Fee is due 60 days before the arrival date, and is also non-refundable. If reservations are made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date, then 100% of the Rental Fee must be paid upon the signing of the Rental Agreement. Please know that a failure to pay any portion of the Rental Fee as set forth above and in Rental Agreement can result in loss of the reservation of the villa and a termination of the Rental Agreement. We will confirm receipt of each payment and note any outstanding balance and due date(s).
Cancellation: We have a no refund cancellation policy, but usually succeed in rescheduling cancelled reservations to the Spring or Fall or re-booking the cancelled period to another group and refunding the party that cancelled. Failure to pay the final balance (which is due 60 days before arrival) or provide required information for the security deposit may be deemed a cancellation with no refund due. Clients are advised to consider Trip Cancellation Insurance with the carrier of their choice at the time of confirmation.
