In the very center of Goult, just a stone's throw from the famous Café de la Poste, guests here enjoy some of the most fantastic village amenities of the Luberon region.
Recently renovated in 2021, the property offers all modern-day comforts to compliment the authenticity of the stone walls and location.
A lovely outdoor patio offers seating and basin-style pool, as well as beautiful views of the Luberon hills. To enjoy the sun and pool in the heart of a Luberon village is such a joyful experience.
As shown below under "Amenities", the house is in fact composed of two appointed apartments that can be reserved in entirety for five bedrooms, or as a three-bedroom option. The first of these apartments is on the second floor, and has a very large open space composed of a nice kitchen, a sitting room and a dining room. Three bedrooms with comfortable King beds have their own private bathrooms here as well. The large terrace with pool completes this second floor level.
On the third floor, guests will find a fully equipped kitchenette, sitting room and additional terrace, plus two bedrooms with comfortable King beds and private bathrooms.
This village house is an ideal place to explore Provence, walk to cafés and restaurants, while being able to enjoy the comfort of a fresh renovation.
Pricing shown is for the full five-bedroom property. Please inquire if interested in renting the apartment on the second floor with three bedrooms only, listed on our website as "Maison du Postier3". The top level is simply closed in this case; never rented to other tenants simultaneously to ensure complete privacy.

This beautiful village house is located in the very center of the charming medieval village of Goult, whose cobbled streets lead to several fine dining restaurants, an award-winning cafe, delightful shops , and a landmark 9th century church. In the Luberon region of Provence, which is where Peter Mayle wrote his 'A Year in Provence'. It is an hour north of Marseille and close to Avignon, Arles, Aix, Nimes, the Camargue, Orange, Mont Ventoux, St Remy and the Rhone wine trail. In summer there are art festivals everywhere, from the famous one at Avignon, to the international piano festival at La Roque d'Antheron, to small local events. Goult has the well-loved Cafe de la Poste in its square, which is where locals and visitors gather for a coffee or meal, some good restaurants, and small shops like a bakery, butcher and greengrocer. Just minutes from Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
