Our guests receive all of the comfort and beauty one could desire in this beautifully restored and decorated authentic group of stone buildings on over 400 acres of private land.
A wonderful paved courtyard – so attractive for breakfasts, lunches or aperitifs - lies between two different buildings which each house four bedrooms apiece.
These two stone houses are perfect for comfortably accommodating large families or groups of friends. The 8 bedrooms (one is a dormitory for up to four children), all with private bathroom, have been equipped with complete comfort including air conditioning.
One of the houses hosts a large modern fully equipped kitchen with cold room and air conditioning, a perfect place to prepare dinners which will be served in the dining room or often on the South terrace with views on the manicured gardens. The vast comfortable sitting room is also located on the same floor and faces the valley and the pool.
The large swimming pool flooded by the sun is secured by an electric security cover, a terrain de boules and a ping pong table will entertain young guests and adults alike. A helipad is set on the property just above the main house.

Mas de la Quietude is located near a nice authentic village.
Between the Durance river and Mount Sainte-Victoire, Jouques is peacefully situated at the intersection of four Departments. Built at the summit of a fragrant hill-side, with its small valleys and wooded massifs, Jouques is not visible until you have rounded almost the last corner on the road leading to the village.
Jouques is a typically small Provencal village with a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its rich rural heritage of "restanques", "bories", oratories and chapels offer a fine pretext for discovering the superb natural environment which surrounds the village.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
