Situated on a large private domaine of olive groves, the Bastide welcomes you with a beautiful, open courtyard looking out over the hills in the distance. Comfortable outdoor seating areas, perfectly shaded, beg to be enjoyed for morning coffees, afternoon naps, or evening cocktails. The large basin pool lines the eastern wall, offering a nice mix of sun and shade throughout the day. Evenings in the courtyard are quite special as well, with beautiful lights highlighting the natural stone, trees, and sculptures.
The original stone farmhouse has been splendidly renovated, focused on an ambiance of peace, privacy, and space. The understated contemporary design flows nicely with the authentic character of the home, and makes this luxury property particularly unique.
Interior spaces are vast, with a large dining area open to the semi-professional kitchen, just to your left upon entering the home, and connected nicely with the outdoor dining and sitting terraces. A large salon to your right offers areas for both relaxing by the fireplace or television, as well as sitting by the large open windows facing the courtyard views.
Six bedrooms can be found amongst the three levels of living space, each unique, spacious and have air conditioning. All bedrooms have en-suite sinks and showers/baths; ideal for couples traveling together.

La Bastide de la Sénancole is just 10 minutes away from the famous hilltop village of Gordes. This location is within easy reach of the villages of the Lubéron - Ménerbes, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux and Roussillon. Coustellet, small village with a variety of shops and a supermarket, is less than 2 minutes by car. The property is likewise well located for excursions beyond the Lubéron. Aix-en-Provence lies to the south, the Cote du Rhones wine-producing region to the north, and the villages and restaurants of the Alpilles region to the southwest. The historic town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, once a center of the Provençal silk trade and now home to more than 200 antiques dealers and Provence's best-known open-air market, is a drive of less than 20 minutes, is the center outside Paris of antiques dealing.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
