The renovations here focused upon authenticity and creativity, creating unique large open spaces within the ground floor living areas with high ceilings and large, light-filled windows. The kitchen boasts all modern, updated amenities, with top-of-the-line Smeg chef’s oven and stove. Also on the ground floor, guests will find a large dining room and two sitting rooms -- both a petit salon and a grand salon.
A beautiful, tiled staircase leads to the air-conditioned second floor bedrooms, each with their own personality, comfort, and flair.
A sixth bedroom with bath is located outside in the Maison d'Amis, with an independent entrance and kitchenette.
The outdoor garden spaces here are shaded with plane trees and luxuriously welcoming. The front of the home offers a large terrace with shade overlooking the generous green space for children to play, as well as the large swimming pool with summer kitchen and lounge.
There is a special character and welcoming ambiance at Villa Tosca which can be felt throughout the property as a whole. Details in decor and interior design are truly unique, and provide the perfect combination of class and comfort.
Please note, owners have a preference for multi-week reservations here. This is therefore a fantastic choice for long-term renters seeking proximity to Aix.

For the adeptes of the sea bath and Mediterrannée in particular, you can go on the blue Coast
(la Cote Bleue) to Carry-le-Rouet, Sausset-les-Pins, Ensues-la-Redonne (20 minutes) or in Cassis (30 minutes); you will find magnificent creeks there to be crossed on foot, as well as places of bathings (sandy's beaches or rocks) wild and protected!!! Please ask advice from your hosts because all were lucky to grow there!!!
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
