Domaine de Villeblanche is a fully air conditioned genuine provencal farmhouse which has been renovated to the highest standard.

A dream come true for children: playrooms with many games, gym, outdoor soccer / basket ball / tennis court. Triple swing set and climbing frame, trampoline, and ping pong table.

The property is also a dream for adults with heated pool, Jacuzzi for 6 people, Bang and Olufsen sound system inside and outside the house, gym, bar, pool table, fantastic indoor kitchen and yet another professional kitchen in the pool house…

As shown in the photo gallery, the main renovated house is beautifully decorated with 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. The kitchen is state of the art and the masterpiece of the house with 3 stoves, 2 dishwashers, and fantastic equipment throughout.

Beside the main house sits La Grange - a renovated barn with large open spaces, flooded with light, and a haven for those looking for privacy or intimacy, teenagers, older guests… with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the first floor.

The outside of the house is even more impressive, with a large heated pool 13m x 7m, and a welcoming pool house to host long lasting outdoor dinners in the summer. A full set of games for children is available.

Caretakers looking after the property live in a separated house 100m from the mansion. They can provide all types of concierge services, from Chefs to yoga… Please inquire in advance for this added service.

The whole property was lovely, perfect for adults and children alike. Plenty of play areas and amenities for the little ones?, inside and outside, and for grown-ups as well. The pool area is especially nice, with a fully equipped kitchen and seating for many people.

Areas for improvement:
The Wi-Fi is not good - could not count on it for work so I am not sure I would even advertise the estate as having Wi-Fi, I would at least mention is it not high speed/reliable for those who might be planning to do some work from there.

Only Provence response: We will check in to this. You may have had some bad luck here -internet service is notoriously spotty in Provence, but generally reliable. Usually the signal will come back within an hour, but there are instances of outages of a day or more from time to time. The internet service at Villeblanche is as good as anywhere else in the region (not great, but works).

We would absolutely recommend Domaine de Villeblanche, Only Provence and Chef Yvan.

The estate is quite amazing, beautifully designed with plenty of things to do for fun for people of all ages and multiple spaces to relax in. We received a very warm welcome upon our arrival and the service stayed excellent throughout our stay.The service at Only Provence was very professional and reliable, the process was made simple and easy. Chef Yvan exceeded all expectations and is highly recommended. He cooked a four course meal for us on three different occasions and every dish was beyond delicious.

Locale

Set on a large private estate near the Alpilles, only 10 km from Saint Rémy famous bars and restaurants, near Avignon and some of the most picturesque villages in Provence. Worth mentioning are Les Baux-de-Provence de Provençe, the famous fortified XIV century village as well as Saint-Rémy-de-Provençe, where Vincent Van Gogh painted, and where Nostradamus, the medieval age visionary was born. To the south of the Mas is the 2000-year-old city of Arles, which is famous for its Roman baths, an amphitheater, and an arena. Arles is also the capital of the Camargue region, an area well known for the white wild horses and bullfights.

Getting here:
The easiest way to get to the French Riviera is to fly to Nice International Airport (NCE). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Nice TGV(5 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Nice TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.

Terms and Conditions Overview

Arrival: Saturday (arrival date subject to availability)

Minimum Stay: 1 week - please inquire about exceptions outside the summer months.

Services Included: Final cleaning and any additional maid service listed on the web page

Making your reservation: These properties are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, before you reserve, you are required to review and sign a rental agreement for the villa (the “Rental Agreement”). We will send you the Rental Agreement by email. The Rental Agreement explains in detail all of terms and conditions regarding rental and use of the property in detail. We shall have no obligation to accept any reservations, unless the Rental Agreement is fully executed.

Payment: After you have signed the Rental Agreement and filled out the appropriate information, as approved by us, a nonrefundable payment of the one-half (50%) of the Rental Fee (which price is defined in your Rental Agreement) must be received by us within seven (7) days to confirm the reservation. The remaining one-half (50%) of the Rental Fee is due 60 days before the arrival date, and is also non-refundable. If reservations are made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date, then 100% of the Rental Fee must be paid upon the signing of the Rental Agreement. Please know that a failure to pay any portion of the Rental Fee as set forth above and in Rental Agreement can result in loss of the reservation of the villa and a termination of the Rental Agreement. We will confirm receipt of each payment and note any outstanding balance and due date(s).

Cancellation: We have a no refund cancellation policy, but usually succeed in rescheduling cancelled reservations to the Spring or Fall or re-booking the cancelled period to another group and refunding the party that cancelled. Failure to pay the final balance (which is due 60 days before arrival) or provide required information for the security deposit may be deemed a cancellation with no refund due. Clients are advised to consider Trip Cancellation Insurance with the carrier of their choice at the time of confirmation.
