Only Provence Review for le Prieure du Chateauneuf
The house in Chateauneuf was absolutely beautiful. We loved the home, the grounds, the location, and the owner. It was elegant and beautiful, yet comfortable and very thoughtfully set up. It felt like staying in the home of a good friend. We appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was, the barbecue outside, the toys for the children, the market bags that we could use for our morning bakery runs, and all the extra linens and towels (having the pool towels were very convenient). It was a wonderful experience. The location in the village, close to restaurants and shops and wine-tasting caves could not be beat.
We absolutely loved the house and the owner. I would highly recommend this property to other people looking to rent, especially if they were interested in the region’s wine. It’s the perfect place to do tastings and tour local vineyards.
