Sample Itinerary
Day 1 · Sunday, September 19, 2027
Morning
Private transfers from your arrival city wind through the Luberon, revealing ochre hills and silver-green olive groves along the way. Welcome to the retreat farmhouse and vineyard, where the vines are heavy with harvest and the air carries the faint scent of crushed grapes and thyme.
Afternoon
Settle in with a slow tour of the grounds and gardens, wandering rows of lavender, rosemary, and late-summer tomatoes. Time to unpack or simply sit beneath the ancient plane trees with a glass of something chilled.
Evening
Relaxed farm-to-table welcome dinner at the retreat’s bistro, drawn from the season’s harvest — the warm flavors of squash and sage, slow-braised meats and late-season vegetables paired with the estate’s wines.
Day 2 · MONday, September 20, 2027
Morning
Restore your body from travel with either a private spa treatment or a gentle yoga class on the villa terrace, surrounded by vineyard rows. Then step into the harvest itself — an immersive wine tasting followed by hands-on grape picking alongside the dedicated team at the farmhouse winery, learning how each varietal is handled at peak ripeness.
Afternoon
Venture out into the Luberon’s hilltop villages with a pause at a well-known wine and truffle house for an aperitif and a taste of the region’s earthy treasures.
Evening
A private chef comes to the villa to prepare an autumnal meal — earthy wild mushrooms, slow-cooked vegetables and wines that match each course, from a crisp local white to a spicy Côtes du Rhône Villages.
Day 3 · TUESday, September 21, 2027
Morning
Join a local forager and walk the surrounding woods and orchards to learn about autumn’s abundance beyond grapes — such as mushrooms, herbs, and wild fruits. We will dive into how to create a seasonal cheese and charcuterie board with some of what we have foraged.
Afternoon
Gather for a leisurely, upscale picnic in the countryside — a table set with the morning’s foraged treasures, seasonal cheeses, and estate wines. Afterwards visit a working lavender distillery in the heart of Provence, where you can see how lavender essential oil is traditionally distilled and learn about the region’s centuries-old growing heritage.
Evening
A free evening — dine as you please, or stay in at the farmhouse for a quiet meal under the stars.
Day 4 · Wednesday, September 22, 2027
Morning
Enjoy the morning to stretch, walk or have a spa. Visit two hilltop villages perched above the valley — narrow stone lanes and sweeping views.
Afternoon
Lunch in a picturesque village with time to explore.
Evening
A short drive to meet the owners of one of the region’s oldest wineries. Long before tourism arrived in Provence, this estate was already producing wine for the surrounding region — archaeological discoveries on the property suggest vines may have been cultivated here as far back as the Bronze Age. Walk the cellars and vineyards as they share the story of their family’s winemaking and the history of the land. Tour the grounds and gardens, then settle into wine tasting paired with a beautiful candlelit dinner — set within the historic château.
Day 5 · THURsday, September 23, 2027
Morning & afternoon
Today, venture beyond the celebrated hilltop villages to one of the Luberon’s more understated corners, tucked quietly at the foot of Gordes.
Here, away from the bustle, spend the better part of the day in the company of a Michelin-starred chef, discovering Provence through the place he knows best—his gardens, his kitchen and the traditions that have shaped both.
Wander among aromatic herbs, vegetables and fruit trees, learning how the seasons have long dictated the rhythm of Provençal cooking. Along the way, hear the stories behind age-old recipes, local ingredients and culinary customs passed from one generation to the next—and how these traditions continue to inspire a modern kitchen today.
There is time to gather, taste, cook and linger; to understand the connection between what grows in the earth and what eventually arrives at the table. More than a cooking experience, it is an intimate introduction to the culture of the Luberon through the eyes of someone deeply rooted in it.
Evening
Light dinner prepared in the comfort of our retreat farmhouse.

Get to the know the family estate dating back to the 16th century guided by the owners who will share their passion for the land and their special love story! Enjoy a lunch of local delicacies amidst the activity of the harvest, “vendange.”
