As winter gently fades into spring, Provence comes alive with vibrant markets, wild herbs, blossoming orchards, and long, sun-filled days. This seven-day retreat is an invitation to restore body and spirit through nature, exceptional food, meaningful connection, and the timeless art of living well that defines life in Provence so well. Each day blends moments of exploration with opportunities to slow down—walking ancient village paths, gathering healing herbs, discovering local vineyards, enjoying beautifully prepared seasonal meals, and finding space to simply breathe. You’ll return home feeling nourished, inspired, and deeply connected to the art of living well.

Day 1 · Sunday, May 2, 2027

Arrival & Settling In

Morning

Private transfers from your arrival city to the retreat farmhouse. Welcome with fresh herbal infusions made on the grounds, or a crisp rosé and a light spring tasting plate.

Afternoon

Slow tour of the grounds and gardens. Time to unpack or simply sit under the plane trees.

Evening

Farm-to-table welcome dinner at the retreat’s bistro — a warm opening evening featuring the first vegetables of spring, young cheeses from a nearby producer, a slow-cooked meal scented with herbs from the garden, and wines right from the vineyard you overlook.

DAY 2 · MONDAY, MAY 3, 2027

Stretching Out — Walking and Wine Tasting

Morning

Restore the body from travel with either a private spa treatment or a yoga class in the privacy of the retreat farmhouse.

A slow exploration of two of the Luberon’s most beloved hilltop villages with clusters of pale stone houses stacked up a hillside, crowned by church towers or a ruined château, and narrow lanes too steep and winding for anything but foot traffic.

Afternoon

Lunch overlooking the valley, followed by a return to the farmhouse for a tasting of small-production estate wines drawn from the surrounding vineyards, led by the estate’s own wine team.

Evening

Relax on the grounds of the estate. A chef arrives at out our farmhouse to prepare a beautiful meal using the best of spring’s ingredients.

DAY 3 · TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2027

Foraging in the Spring

Morning

Head to a nearby village and spend the morning in the fields of Provence—bursting with the season’s bounty.  We will harvest various elements growing in the season then enjoy an elegant picnic surrounded by rolling hills and wild flowers.

Afternoon

Continue on to a private lavender distillery that has been run by the same family for five generations. Learn how essential oils are extracted, and explore the benefits of local herbs and flowers in aromatherapy. 

Evening

A leisurely evening with the freedom to dine as you wish — venture into a nearby village for a quiet local dinner, or stay at the farmhouse for an intimate meal on the terrace.

DAY 4 · WEDNESDAY, MAY 5, 2027

Ancient Villages and Château Life

Morning

Optional yoga class or spa treatment to begin the day gently.

Afternoon

Transfer to a famous nearby village known for its ochre cliffs.  Carry onto an ancient medieval hilltop village for a leisurely lunch.  Return to your retreat for a spa, time to yourself or an afternoon walk in the vineyards.

Evening

A short drive to meet the owners of one of the region’s oldest wineries. Long before tourism arrived in Provence, this estate was already producing wine for the surrounding region — archaeological discoveries on the property suggest vines may have been cultivated here as far back as the Bronze Age. Walk the cellars and vineyards as they share the story of their family’s winemaking and the history of the land. Tour the grounds and gardens, then settle into wine tasting paired with a beautiful candlelit dinner —-set within the historic château.

DAY 5 · THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2027

Follow your Bliss - A long walk, village to village or a dive into history

Morning

Follow your Bliss today— Choose between a guided village-to-village walk along a beautiful countryside path linking two of the Luberon’s most iconic hilltop villages.  Includes a picnic lunch overlooking the rolling vineyards and ancient abbeys.

A slow exploration of several of the S. Luberon’s most beloved hilltop villages, with a stop at a family-run olive mill for a tasting of the season’s finest oils.

Enjoy some personal time, relax in the calm beauty of the retreat farmhouse, have a spa, or a wander in a nearby village.

DAY 6 · FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2027

Market & Château

Morning

An early walk through one of the region’s most beloved village markets filled with the best of the region’s abundance – artisan works, linen clothes, fresh fruits and vegetables, olives and cheeses…the list goes on.

Afternoon

Continue to a working biodynamic winery to explore the vineyards and learn how organic practices shape the wine.  Get to know the family estate dating back to the 16th century guided by the owners who will share their passion for the land and their special love story!  Enjoy a lunch of local delicacies.

Evening

A sound bath under the cypress trees as the light fades, followed by a private farewell dinner at the farmhouse — prepared by a personal chef for our group, with wine, laughter, and a slow, celebratory evening together.

DAY 7 · SATURDAY, MAY 8, 2027

Departure

Morning

A slow breakfast and a closing circle in the garden — a brief reflection on what to carry home. Private transfers to airports or onward travel.

For those who wish to add an additional night, an optional afternoon excursion to a nearby estate known for contemporary art and architecture set among the vineyards offers a memorable close to the journey.
