Mas de Bellecour boasts truly breathtaking views over the southern Luberon Valley and sits just 3 km from the sought-after village of Gordes.
Inside the main house, guests enjoy bright, welcoming living and dining areas, along with a spacious modern kitchen designed for convivial cooking and gathering.
The main house offers four bedrooms, the adjacent cottage provides two additional bedrooms, and a seventh bedroom is located on the basement level.
The beautifully manicured gardens and multiple outdoor terraces offer plenty of space to stroll, unwind, read, or simply soak in the tranquility of the property. Aperitifs and dinners here are pure enchantment, enhanced by a Sonos sound system and meticulously designed lighting that create a magical evening ambiance.
Mas de Bellecour’s location is ideal for exploring the Luberon Valley, its famed hilltop villages, and its lavender fields. It also serves as a perfect home base for day trips to the historic cities of Orange, Nîmes, Avignon, Arles, and Aix-en-Provence, all less than an hour’s drive away.
Please note: the owners are flexible regarding arrival and departure days. Please inquire for details.
Mas de Bellecour is set in the Gordes countryside, about three kilometers from the village and within easy reach of the villages of the Luberon so adored by travel writers - among them Ménerbes, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux and Roussillon. Beaumettes and Coustellet, small villages with a variety of shops, are less than ten minutes by car. The property is likewise well located for excursions beyond the Luberon. Aix-en-Provence lies to the south, the Côtes du Rhône wine-producing region to the north, and the villages and restaurants of the Alpilles region to the southwest. The historic town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, once a center of the Provençal silk trade and now home to more than 200 antiques dealers and Provence's best-known open-air market, is the center outside Paris of antiques dealing and a drive of less than 15 minutes.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseille International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV (high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV (3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Paris Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
