Aix in June: June 2024

Concerts, workshops, shows, master classes, meetings, films, and participatory projects, Aix in June celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Festival by offering original artistic experiences and an extraordinary collection of lyrical art.

In June, the artists of the Festival take over emblematic places of Aix-en-Provence and its region to offer everyone a festive and free musical prelude to the July performances.

Concerts, workshops, shows, masterclasses, meetings, films, and participative projects, Aix en Juin celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Festival by offering original artistic experiences, including an exceptional anniversary day to discover the Festival’s extraordinary collections.

The key events of Aix in June are recitals of the Académie residencies, the concerts at Silvacane Abbey, the film cycle in the cinemas of Aix-en-Provence, starry nights in the courtyard of the Hôtel Maynier d’Oppède and Parade[s] on the Cours Mirabeau, uniting Mozart and Cuban music!

Aix en Provence Festival: 03 – 23 July, 2024

Created in 1948, the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence quickly emerged as one of the leading events of the opera season. It also proved to be a place for innovation and renewal, with the festival’s unique capacity to surprise the audience and introduce them to new horizons, forms, and artists. Dedicated to creating new opera productions and organizing high-quality concerts, the Festival enjoys great renown, permitting it to join forces with stage directors at the height of its art, visionary orchestras and conductors, first-class casts, and the most outstanding contemporary composers around. Thanks to its reputation, it engages in coproductions with the finest opera houses in the world, which continue to welcome the Festival’s productions throughout the seasons.

The Festival d’Avignon is one of the most important international events for contemporary performing arts. Every year, in July, Avignon becomes a theater city, transforming its architectural heritage into various majestic or astonishing performance venues, welcoming tens of thousands of theater lovers of all generations (more than 130,000 admissions),

Bol d’Or: 12 – 15 September, 2024

The Circuit Paul Ricard in Castellet, a legendary 24-hour international motorcycle race, will take place on the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet!

Delta Festival in Marseille: 04 – 08 September, 2024

Festival for young people, playing music and playing sports activities. It will be five days of party on the beach of “Plages du Prado” in Marseille. There will be around 250 artists playing.

Font’Arts: 02 – 05 August, 2024

Every summer at the beginning of August, the Provençal village of Pernes-les-Fontaines lends its shady setting and the freshness of its old stones to the Font’Arts Street Theater and Music Festival. For a whole weekend, around forty companies perform free of charge around the alleys and in the squares of the small  town
