Overview

In the heart of bustling St Remy de Provence sits Mas Cédrat, a beautifully decorated house with a Provençal garden. Wonderfully nestled in a peaceful setting, it is very conveniently positioned, within easy walking distance of cafés, shops, restaurants and historic sites.

Sleeping up to 14 people (maximum of 10 adults), the property features refined interiors, matched with charming and spacious outdoor areas. Inside, the kitchen, with its magnificent materials and equipment, open onto the gardens and the beautiful living-room and fireplace. Authenticity and modernity blend harmoniously in a warm and homely atmosphere.

Five of the bedrooms are to be found in the main house across two levels, while the additional sixth bedroom is in separate annexe, with an independent entrance through the gardens.

Mas Cédrat has many outdoor relaxing corners where everybody can have their privacy. It is a real treat for children with a play area, games and a cosy roulotte. The magnificent, heated, swimming pool, comes complete with an impressive pool house, whilst the large and flat gardens make the property a peaceful haven for families. To make life even easier, a vegetable garden and greenhouse are at guests’ disposal to discover local flavours.

Pure luxury in one of the most iconic villages of Provence, Mas Cédrat is the perfect property for an enchanted stay.

Locale

A just 10 minutes walk from Saint Rémy's famous bars and restaurants, and only a short drive away are some of the most picturesque villages in Provence. Worth mentioning are Les Baux-de-Provence, the famous fortified XIV century village, as well as Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where Vincent Van Gogh painted, and where Nostradamus, the medieval age visionary was born. To the south of the Mas is the 2000-year-old city of Arles, which is famous for its Roman baths, an amphitheater, and an arena. Arles is also the capital of the Camargue region, an area well known for the white wild horses and bullfights.

Getting Here

The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseille International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV (high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV (3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Paris Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
