Overview

Mas du Milan is an authentic stone home of Provence, impeccably renovated to ensure no detail was left undone. The owners have put great care and love into this home, which is evident from the moment you set foot on the property.

With five acres of land comes a beautifully peaceful stay, and stunning views of the ocre hills of Roussillon. The outdoor spaces exude comfort – multiple large terraces for dining, lounging, taking in sun or shade by the large pool, or playing a friendly game of boules.

Indoors, you will find tall ceilings welcoming you to the spacious living, dining, and resting areas. Six bedrooms have been carefully constructed to ensure each and every guest is able to enjoy similar levels of relaxation. All bedrooms are also equipped with air-conditioning for upmost comfort throughout the year.

The large kitchen opens both onto the side terrace and large indoor living and dining rooms, causing a perfect flow from this heart of the home. Downstairs on the garden level, you will find a large TV room for lounging, as well as a well-equipped exercise room.

In all, Mas du Milan is a superb choice for those wishing to enjoy the balance between an authentic stay in the natural beauty of Provence and modern comforts of today, all while being centrally located within the Luberon Valley.

Situated in the Luberon, at the foot of the Monts de Vaucluse, the village of Roussillon is surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is considered one of the most impressive villages in France - Roussillon is one of the "must-sees" in the Luberon, and is well worth a detour. Roussillon - Ocres hills Situated in the heart of one of the biggest ochre deposits in the world, Roussillon is famous for its magnificent red cliffs and ochre quarries. The red, yellow and brown shades of the earth form a striking contrast with the lush green pinetrees. The vivid blue of the Provençal sky and the exceptional quality of light make this a magical site. Roussillon - Ochre Facades It is like an artist's pallet, with the infinite combinations of colours varying from yellow to purple with all the shades of pink and red inbetween. Situated in the heart of one of the biggest ochre deposits in the world, Roussillon is famous for its magnificent red cliffs and ochre quarries. Roussillon - City hall You will become acquainted with Roussillon's unique natural history while walking along the ochre pathways. You can also learn about how the ochre is treated and used in the building industry by visiting the "Conservatoire des Ocres et des Pigments Appliqués", situated in an old ochre factory. Most impressive! As soon as you arrive in the village of Roussillon, you will be charmed by its atmosphere. Take the time to stroll around the picturesque maze of streets and squares. The ochre façades of the houses are magnificent... shades vary subtly from light yellow to dark red, set off by the brightly painted shutters and doors. From the base of the village to the summit of the Castrum and its splendid view, Roussillon is a delightful place to visit!
