Nestled in the heart of the enchanting village of Rustrel, known for its spectacular ochre cliffs and breathtaking natural landscapes, La Petite Ocrière is a charming Provençal retreat designed for couples, friends, or a small family seeking an authentic Luberon escape.
Behind its traditional stone façade, this beautifully restored village house combines historic character with modern comfort. Original stone walls, warm natural materials, and elegant furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere that immediately invites relaxation. The interiors are bright and comfortable, offering two bedrooms and thoughtfully designed living spaces that feel both intimate and refined.
Outside, a private courtyard garden provides a peaceful sanctuary after a day spent exploring the villages and trails of the Luberon. Enjoy long summer lunches on the terrace, an evening apéritif under the Provençal sky, or a refreshing dip in the private pool surrounded by stone walls and Mediterranean charm.
One of the property’s greatest assets is its exceptional location. From the front door, guests can stroll to local cafés, restaurants, and village amenities, while some of Provence’s most iconic destinations, including the Colorado Provençal, Roussillon, Gordes, Bonnieux, and Ménerbes, are just a short drive away. Hiking and cycling trails begin almost at the doorstep, making La Petite Ocrière an ideal base for discovering the region’s remarkable natural beauty.
Combining the authenticity of an old Provençal home with the convenience of village living and the luxury of a private pool, La Petite Ocrière offers a relaxed and memorable Luberon experience in one of Provence’s most unique settings.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseille International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV (high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV (3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Paris Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
