Fabulously renovated and set within a private estate, this property comprises a six-bedroom main house and a three-bedroom guest cottage, all just a 10-minute walk from the historic village of Eygalières.
Mas des Promesses is an expansive retreat featuring manicured lawns, mature landscaping, and two charming stone houses, each with its own fully equipped kitchen and inviting living spaces. Shaded and sunlit terraces encircle both houses, providing tranquil spots to read, sunbathe, or simply relax.
Main House
On the ground floor, an open-plan kitchen and dining area flows into a comfortable living room, alongside two air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms. The first floor offers a spacious air-conditioned en-suite bedroom with lovely views.
Descending one level from the ground floor, you’ll find three additional air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms with direct access to the garden terraces, one of which features four single beds, ideal for children. The garden level also includes a laundry room and wine cellar.
Guest House
Located just 20 meters (about 60 feet) from the main house, the single-level guest cottage is easily accessible and wonderfully independent. You enter into an open living and dining area with a full kitchen and access to an air-conditioned en-suite bedroom with direct outdoor entry. Along the hallway are two further bedrooms, each with outdoor access, sharing a bathroom and separate WC, located off a common hallway.
An oversized swimming pool, framed by expansive lawns and mature trees, invites long afternoons of leisure. The nearby pool house provides the perfect spot to enjoy a cool drink or a light meal in the garden.
Nothing has been overlooked! This historic stone estate seamlessly blends contemporary interiors, clean lines, and natural materials, all set against breathtaking views of the Alpilles, and within walking distance of the coveted village of Eygalières.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseille International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV (high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV (3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Paris Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
