Overview

A true hidden gem in the heart of the Luberon, Le Domaine des Saisons offers a rare blend of timeless charm, natural beauty, and complete seclusion. Set on over 33 hectares of private land between Bonnieux and Lourmarin—forests, meadows, olive groves, and a winding river—this extraordinary estate guarantees a level of privacy and tranquility that is nearly impossible to find. No neighbors. No roads. Just nature, silence, and space.

The property centers around a beautifully restored 18th-century bastide, complemented by several stone outbuildings that form a private hamlet. Inside, spacious interiors blend authentic Provencal character with understated elegance—cathedral ceilings, stone walls, exposed beams and noble materials throughout. With seven air-conditioned bedrooms spread across the main house and guest annexes, the home comfortably welcomes up to 12 adults and a total of 15 guests in complete privacy.

Outdoors, enjoy long summer days by the large 20m x 7m stone-built pool, a private tennis court, shaded terraces, and multiple al fresco dining spaces. Whether you’re relaxing with family or hosting close friends, Le Domaine des Saisons is the ultimate “nowhere but here” retreat—an exclusive escape into the soul of Provence.

All this, just a short drive from the iconic hilltop village of Bonnieux, with its charming cafés, weekly market, and sweeping views over the valley.

Centrally located in the rolling hills of the Luberon Mountains near Bonnieux - An ideal location for hikes, walks, cycling, touring or just relaxing. No matter what route you take to Bonnieux, you will see the church tower well before you arrive. At a height of 425m, the tower dominates the countryside and the surroundings of this magnificent village, situated in the Luberon. The Church is built on a plateau above the valley, Bonnieux is one of the finest villages in the area. The houses spread out on the hill-side form a striking harmony of earth-toned colours and shapes. Bonnieux - Calade Some superb residences dating back to the 16th, 17th, and 18th century serve as a reminder that Bonnieux was a wealthy village when this region, the Comtat Venaissin, belonged to the Popes. Bonnieux - Vaulted door Several bishops also chose to live here and as you wander through the village streets you will no doubt marvel at the architecture and history on display. Bonnieux - Cedars After having climbed 86 stone steps to the "Vieille Eglise" and the old cedar trees, you will discover a beautiful view of the Monts du Vaucluse, and the villages of Gordes and Roussillon. You can also admire the vast plains planted with grape vines (Côtes du Luberon), lavender, cereals and fruit trees - just as the impressionists painted them! Don't leave Bonnieux without visiting the Boulangerie Museum where you will see a collection of bread and learn plenty about its history and manufacture. All this will certainly whet your appetite - but don't worry, Bonnieux has some excellent restaurants, complete with charming terraces.
