Just a short stroll from the heart of Eygalières, one of the Alpilles’ most sought-after villages, Mas de la Poésie is a beautifully restored Provençal farmhouse where timeless charm meets refined contemporary comfort.
Set behind a gated entrance and surrounded by landscaped gardens, this elegant retreat enjoys an exceptional setting with open views towards the Alpilles hills. Designed for memorable gatherings with family and friends, the property offers six beautifully appointed bedroom suites, generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, and a relaxed atmosphere that embodies the Provençal art of living.
At the heart of the property, the spacious kitchen and dining area open onto shaded terraces and sun-drenched gardens, creating the perfect setting for long lunches and convivial evenings. Guests can spend their days lounging beside the large swimming pool, enjoying a game of pétanque, preparing wood-fired pizzas on warm summer evenings, or simply unwinding beneath the shade of mature trees while admiring the surrounding landscape.
The interiors blend authentic character with modern luxury. Natural materials, carefully selected furnishings and thoughtful amenities create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Air conditioning, high-speed internet, a fully equipped fitness room and premium entertainment systems ensure complete comfort in every season.
One of the property’s greatest assets is its enviable location. Within a fifteen-minute walk, guests can reach the charming centre of Eygalières, renowned for its Michelin-starred restaurants, artisan shops, lively cafés and weekly market. The picturesque villages of the Alpilles, including Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence and Maussane, are all within easy reach.
Just a few minutes from the charming, but sophisticated village of Eygalières, a favorite hideaway for Parisians hosts a number of good restaurants. Find all of the charm and amenities in the village with butcher, baker, café/ bar and weekly market. The area surrounding the village provides one of the most dramatic landscapes in Provence with the famed Alpilles (hills) adorning the view - an area made famous by the works Vincent Van Gogh.
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseille International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV (high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV (3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Paris Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
