A walk through the estate, an explanation of how truffles grow and why they remain so elusive — then the dogs arrive. Alongside a seasoned French hunter and his three trained dogs, you’ll move through the trees until one of them catches the scent and begins to dig. When the truffle emerges from the earth, dark and fragrant, it lands with a satisfying weight in the hand. The experience continues in the summer kitchen: truffle hors d’oeuvres, truffle ice cream with honey, tastings of truffle oil and salt — all accompanied by Champagne.
