Only Provence began not as a large villa company, but with a single farmhouse: Mas de Gancel, a traditional Provençal property lovingly renovated by Only Provence founders, John and Lydia Dean. What started as one restored home and a passion for sharing the beauty of Provence gradually evolved into one of the region’s most respected luxury villa rental companies.
In the early years, John and Lydia personally welcomed guests, prepared homes, cleaned properties themselves, and built relationships owner by owner, guest by guest.
